This spot delivers authentic Cantonese flavors with thoughtful execution, making it a favorite for both intimate dinners and celebratory gatherings. The location offers convenient accessibility, ideal for locals and visitors craving refined Chinese cuisine away from the usual hustle of Chinatown.

The culinary highlights revolve around expertly prepared seafood and traditional dishes that leave a lasting impression. Signature plates such as crabs steamed in egg white and yellow wine, alongside the robust typhoon shelter crab, showcase the kitchen’s mastery over delicate flavors and textures. The steamed Soon Hock fish stands out for its freshness and clean presentation, while the sweet and sour pork achieves a perfect balance of crispiness and tang. For those seeking a harmonious mix of land and sea, the basil chicken paired with fresh clams offers a delightful pairing. Vegetables like Kailan and Yau Mak provide a crisp, vibrant counterpoint to the richer dishes, rounding out the meal elegantly.

The dining environment is thoughtfully designed, blending a modern ambiance with functional comfort. G7 KITCHEN provides private rooms that comfortably accommodate medium-sized groups, making it a go-to option for family dinners or corporate lunches. While the necessity to exit the main dining area to access the restroom is a minor inconvenience, it does not detract significantly from the overall experience. The attentive service led by Leo, the manager, enhances the visit with genuine warmth and helpfulness, reinforcing the restaurant’s reputation for customer care.

Though the menu lacks a formal dessert section, the kitchen’s flexibility shines through as they craft simple but satisfying options like steamed almond cream upon request. Another thoughtful touch is the absence of corkage fees combined with the availability of proper wine glasses, which makes bringing your own bottle hassle-free and enhances the dining pleasure.

G7 KITCHEN appeals to a diverse crowd—from families to corporate groups—looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine served in a setting that balances elegance and approachability. In this space, the culinary tradition is respected, and the experience feels both special and inviting. Came here twice in 3 days. I really like the food here and there’s a few dishes that really stand out for me. The crabs steamed in egg white and yellow wine. The typhoon shelter crabs are equally delicious. The price is about RM18.80/100g. The steamed Soon Hock fish was really good. The sweet and sour pork is really crispy. I also like their basil chicken with clams. The Kailan and Yau mak dishes are also good. There’s 2 private rooms that sit 8 comfortably but 10 can be a little tight. The only downside is that you need to walk out of the restaurant to go to the toilet. Leo, the manager is doet helpful and friendly. Although they don’t have dessert but you can always ask if they can make something as they do an almond cream dessert when I asked. They do not charge corkage and they have proper wine glasses.

Came here for CNY lunch with my firm. Food were so good, ordered salmon lou sang as well. Lou sang taste good as well. We ordered a variety of dishes and none of them disappoint. Service was good as the staffs were very attentive. Environment wise not your usual chinese restaurant setting, but i guess its fine as long as the food were good and they can accommodate all of us. we have 9 ppl in total. we are seated in a private room so that was great.

Food is good, their alacarte dishes’ portions are good for 2-4 pax so may be a bit too much for 2 persons. They do not have dessert on d menu but if u ask, they may have 1 or 2 which the kitchen whips up. A special mention is the steamed almond cream with egg white. Leo the captain is friendly & attentive.
